I love the colour scheme in this so hard. It's gorgeous! I like how you did the beak too; it's hard to draw bird faces from the front. And I love the way you do textures because I can so easily imagine what your creatures would feel like to the touch.

What are the dark scales/patches? They're very black and featureless, like voids, so my eyes keep being drawn to them. I keep being drawn to the hole of clouds surrounding the moon too. Perhaps instead of having a clean hole, draw out some wisps of cloud to partially cover the moon; it might make it look more natural and interesting.

The big feathers across the picture in the bottom foreground are nice and striking, but I find it very hard to see how they can possibly correlate to the position of the wing. It looks awesome, though, so you can probably get away with putting that down to artistic license.

Its facial features don't quite line up right. (I noticed that in the sketch, but didn't point it out because I assumed you'd clean it up in the finished version.) It's nothing major; it just needs some slight tweaking, which should be easy if you've still got everything on all those layers.
The horns are as if viewed from the front, but the face is a little to the side. Nudging the horns to the left a bit should sort it, maybe tilting them to the left a tiny bit too.
Its left (our right) ear is a bit too far too the right, and its right (our left) eye is a bit too far to the left. Push them both a wee bit back towards the centre and it should look better.
Love the scaly eyebrows, by the way.

Wahnsinn. Der erste Blick lässt einen mal ziemlich sprachlos werden, ganz ehrlich. Der majestätische, anziehende Blick (extrem gut gelungene Augen), die Details am Körper, die imposante Pose und nicht zuletzt die Farben, die ganz wunderbar lebhaft sind und trotzdem miteinander harmonieren.

Wenn ich wirklich gemein wäre, würde ich jetzt sagen, dass die Wolken im Vergleich zur Kreatur etwas lieblos wirken aber das ist echt ein winziges Details, das nicht weiter stört. Denn eigentlich betrachtet man eh nur den Kröer, die Federn...

This took forever for my comp to load but it was sooo worth it One of the best I've seen! I love the inquisitive look on his face, and the colour scheme is amazing! My favourite thing about this piece though is the eyes, and the way they gleam.
