Description

:iconreadplz:

The autumn is here and everything is so colourful and lush!
This time of the year makes me feel free and happy because all the colours surround me that's why it is double as much fun to draw such a colourful autumn picture.

This is my part of the trade with :iconfoxfeather248:
Even though the picture took me two days to colour (including the drying time for the watercolours), I almost couldn't stop adding more and more pencil or brush strokes because it was just so much fun to do.
I couldn't find my gel pen which was quite frustrating so I had to do the lighting with my smallest brush.
Even if that worked, I still prefer my white gel pen. :D

The colours you see are the same as in the original, I didn't need to adjust anything (the scanner is very friendly today).
Watercolours, coloured pencils and acrylics on thick and smooth bristol board, a bit smaller than A4.

Hope you enjoy! :D

This is a gorgeous piece! I've seen a lot of people use watercolor on bristol smooth and I personally love that paper but I'm a bit worried because whenever I've used watercolor on it, the surface starts to tear up or the paper starts to warp. I can imagine taping the paper onto a desk would help. But what about the surface? Do you just need to use water very sparingly? I'm using Fabriano Bristol Smooth and I have a chance to buy some Daler-Rowney bristol as well. Strathmore is inaccessible for me :(
