This is the first concept of an idea that I'm resurrecting. It's Dragons of Incense, which will include dragons with the features of certain plants and resins that we know as incense.

This one is featuring Styrax. Instead of the original idea I've had, of portrairing dragon heads only, I want to take it a bit further and make full paintings with backgrounds.

In the old painting, the main thing that is so striking to me are the colors. I really get the sense of the smoldering end of a stick of incense. I really how that with this dynamic pose and rather toothy maw you can portray the slow deep burning like before.

The previous painting is a true favorite of mine

Wish I had a print. It relates to me deep strength, coarseness, and warmth in colour. I really can't wait to see what you do here.
