This one was crazy. I brainstormed for a long time and due to projects I could just get to work today. Since I wasn't pleased with the earlier ideas and sketches, I started this painting from scratch and completed it; in half a day. I must eat now!

This is my entry for the Art Order's Dungeon Delve Challenge.
I have never done a challenge so far. This one was a lot of fun, even if it was a speedpainting. :D

I rarely draw humans. XD
edit: changed the lighting a little. ^^
No references, 5 hours.

Honestly, I can't believe how much you've improved. I've watched your art for a couple of years now, going on three I believe... and while you were always an outstanding artist this is very reminiscent of something I'd expect to see in a D&D art book. (I know this is somewhat old, but I'm going through my favorites and just HAD to comment.)

The lighting is dramatic as is the angle. Lovely work on the sketchy but noticeable details as well.

...And I don't think she's going to make it out of that dungeon. Poor travelers. Always so blissfully ignorant as to never look behind them....
