My entry for
 and  elements contest.I chose the element earth once again because I felt like drawing a lot of rocks again. xD This is definately a place I wouldn't want walking barefoot on. Yet another picture which started as a simple random sketch and ended up like this. A part of the tree isn't detailed because I wanted to let go from the strict lines a little bit and leave the leaves almost melt together with the sky. Also, I liked my pencil strokes there and I didn't want to draw over them.  I decided to treat this wolf like a dragon and therefore had more freedom to draw such details which belong to his body. It might be "hard" stroking this guy. xD Yet he provides a nice shadow for you! Watercolours and coloured pencil on Bristol board. It took me 16 hours as far as I can remember. |

Spring is here and the ice breaks free

The way you draw the wolf lying on there, and how he looks at you.
And I also like the element earth, it's just like the *Mama* of our planet.
We get all our food from it. Someday when mankind made all the ground become a desert, they'll see how worthless money really is.
So yeah, this picture got a rich expression of that earth element, I think!
