A commission for

I just can say that this one was a lot of fun to do, even though it consumed quite a lot of time at the hottest day of the year.
No, really, I loved working on this one considering working with darker watercolours and brighter contrasts added with coloured pencils. If there is something I love drawing or painting, then it is moss. I love moss so much.

Scanning this picture was a fight too. That scanner tends to eat yellows and greens but today, it was quite coorporative. It ate the purple accents a bit but it isn't too visible fortunately...

Maybe I was even dreaming of being in that piece of forest, which looks cooling and moist, because the day yesterday was just effing hot and fried the last bit of liquid out of my body....
