Myre, the fox lady that has been in my mind for god knows how long. I have been drawing fox-women with pure red hair for such a long time and never believed that I will create an actual character out of my throught and subconscious scribbling.
This was my first attempt to paint armor that looks used and worn. The rusty bits, scratches and dents were the most fun part to do about it. I spent most of the time working on the plating and correcting mistakes that have been sneaked in with the sketch: [link] Painting metal can be so much fun as you can play around with tiny details, rust, different colours and shapes yet there are restrictions about light and shadows which makes the process of painting a lot more a challenge when you're used to paint plants and leaves. The metal armour is amazing, there are so many different colours and tones to it, not to mention the cocktail of textures. The lighting really shows it off even more.
I'm also very fond of her lovely hair. Some of it seems almost to be in twisted ropes, still while some is falling nice and straight. It does add a nice shock of colour to the image.
