Sgurr nan Gillean

At the very base of the Sgurr nan Gillean it started raining so heavily and continuously that we impossibly could scramble up the 900m ascent to reach the peak.

Our pathway turned into a waterfall and we were forced to go back. We were so close...

Sgurr nan Gillean, Isle of Skye. It's the second largest mountain of the Cuillin Ridge and offers one pathway for scrambling and two for proper climbers.
