We are made one with what we touch and see,
With our heart's blood each crimson sun is fair,
With our young lives each springimpassioned tree
Flames into green, the wildest beasts that range
The moor our kinsmen are, all life is one, and all is change."
- Oscar Wilde
What a delightful task to colour the lineart of the fantastic artist Akeyla. This piece was hard to transfer on proper paper because of the detailed sketch but I enjoyed colouring a different angle of view.
I still have no clue how to paint water properly so I just did it with intuition and memory. My workspace was far from a PC and references, embedded with tubes of paint, coffee cups and brushes. I actually wanted to use the airbrush to bring out cetain effects but I found a technique which gives a similar yet more subtle effect.
I was too lazy setting the machine up and preparing it to spray and then afterwards clean it. >.<
This can be seen and even purchased at Eurofurence artshow.
Acrylics and colour pencils on watercolour paper.
Again, this is a collaborative work.
Akeyla did the lineart and I coloured it.
Thanks so much for looking.
