The landscapes in "Myre" are mostly meager and death but sometimes, you can see some green places with a scanty population of trees.

This is just another practice without references and also a concept for the novel. I painted this to keep my mind off the snow and coldness, even though it doesn't seem so warm in there either. ;)
I used Photoshop only.
2096 x 3500 pixel on 300 dpi

No references although I thought a lot about Scotland. ^__^

Thanks a lot for looking! <3

You draw the most beautiful and tangible and realistic landscapes, do you have any tips on how to draw landscapes?

I like the silhouette of the dragon and whatever appears to be leading it. I see a weird fading effect going on between the farthest pair of mountains and a closer mountain. By the base of the closer mountain the blend looks kinda weird. I do like the texture of the green lands though. Nice job =)
