Froma random sketch to a real result, that is something I always like. xD
I put up the messy sketch [link] a couple of days or even weeks ago and so many friends helped me with their good constructive critique. Thanks a lot, friends! You are great!

When it came to colouring the thing, I had to think about a colouring scheme first. That took me a while and then detailing the water... Bleurgh. I had to take reference for the little stream but now can handle water a lot better than before. So it's always good to use some good references from ature or photographs to look up what it actually looks like and to learn how to do it next time you draw or paint water.
I found it incredibly easy excepts for the flowy water, which looks a bit like cream. lol
But all in all, I'm quite pleased how it turned out and that I didn't mess it up at all.

It was quite a tough concept at the first sight but when I was working on it, it was ok and very pleasant.
Hope you like it as well!

Amazing :) The details are wonderful, and I love the way you made her fur and the mountains in the bg.

Holy crap. This is amazing. Probably, one of the best pictures you've done so far! :wow:

The fur is so realistic, I could imagine what it feels like. And the way the Water Lady turns her head to you, it looks like she's alive!

And the water that flows around her legs and feet.
Wow, just wow.

Beautiful work! I love the details in the fur and water. Both are so hard to really achieve, but you did amazing! And I love her flowing hair. It reminds me of hair underwater, which I'm assuming was you intent? But it looks incredible!

very very beautiful colors here! Realistic and riverlike :3 I love how you made her backpaws into little rocks which the stream was flowing around! The fur texture always looks beautiful penciled in

Do you have nothing better to do with your life? Go out and plant a fucking tree, you lazy bitch. Plant it most violently. Rip somebody's parking lot up to do it. Beat them violently to death with a shovel, if they try to object. ~ Alexiuss
