Artist's Comments

Froma random sketch to a real result, that is something I always like. xD
I put up the messy sketch [link] a couple of days or even weeks ago and so many friends helped me with their good constructive critique. Thanks a lot, friends! You are great!

When it came to colouring the thing, I had to think about a colouring scheme first. That took me a while and then detailing the water... Bleurgh. I had to take reference for the little stream but now can handle water a lot better than before. So it's always good to use some good references from ature or photographs to look up what it actually looks like and to learn how to do it next time you draw or paint water.
I found it incredibly easy excepts for the flowy water, which looks a bit like cream. lol
But all in all, I'm quite pleased how it turned out and that I didn't mess it up at all.

It was quite a tough concept at the first sight but when I was working on it, it was ok and very pleasant.
Hope you like it as well!

Water Lady by =AlectorFencer, is an example about how her work, just breaths with life and this piece is no exception, the fur and the water detail are stunning and just glow with effort, patience and brilliance. (Suggested by *NizhoniWolf and Featured by `skifi)

Gah! >3< I love the idea of her tail turnig into water.
You draw nature spirits like you're one of them, meaning that you know what you're doing to make them look spiritual and elemental without overdoing it. :3
Amazing job!

Yeah, hehe. Sometimes I need to find other words too to make it sound not so boring and repetetive. :D

This is one of those pictures that wake you up :o

Everything is just AWAKE, AND MOVING.

Except the lady, she's much too elegant to be spazzing out. Her hair.... I wish my hair was that thick! And FLOWY.

Now I must skidadal before the internet destroys my message.
