It was -13 degrees here, so cold that even the slightly moving river was so frozen that we could walk on it.
Even though it is so beautiful and clear outside, I wish it was summer again.
The urge to get up in the morning at 6 or 7 and actually see the sun, green leaves, green grass, feel the warmth and a fresh yet warm wind's breeze and simply go out barefoot really gets stronger and stronger.

To opress this urge, I keep drawing plants and green and vast nature. But I had this idea in my mind for so long and simply didn't know how to realize it. The day before yesterday, I got my new sketchbook (which is utterly awesome, BTW!) so I wanted to try out the paper. All of a sudden, I started drawing it whilst I sat on the bed and actually wanted to sleep.

With other words, I drew it in a half dark room being tired and so on.
And w00t, I didn't need any reference for this!
I should sketch way more often without planning so much in advance because it really seems that ideas add to a picture once you started it and not whilst you have it planned thoroughly.

To all my commissioners, don't worry. I'm still working on your pictures. I haven't forgot you.

I wonder if I should try colouring this as this idea would really comes to it's own with colours. It's probably hard to make up the grass parts from the snowy parts. xD
