Artist's Comments The WIP of the colouring of [link] It took me three times to make up a colour concept which doesn't look boring (because winter is boring for me  )The first one was tinted in blue, blue background, frost greens and such. That looked rather plain and bland for me. I don't know how you think about it but I'm quite pleased with this colour concept. The face and some leaves are already worked out a bit to test if it really goes with the rest. Now I think I will keep it that way. ^^ Oh, and he looks as if he wears a weird wig made of leaves. XDD Why is this picture so difficult for me? :/ I hope I won't mess up too much. XP I will post the walkthrough of this painting when the finished version is up.  Thanks a lot for looking, even though I always post some WIPs and they always look better than the finished product. lol DX |
