My dear friends, I am still in awe of how fast things can work if everyone gives a hand to help pulling the robe...

I got in touch with @Jasmin Keller, who is one of my friend's friends and whom just got back into touch with her not so long ago. She doesn't live so far away from Jasmin's place, and she is doing well! This evening, the picture even reached my friend and she saw it. I haven't heard anything back from her yet and I am not sure, if we will get back in touch with one another again, but time will tell ♥

I don't know what to say...I am in awe, and while feeling so tired and weak due to the rush of emotions, the spark of hope is now a big flame. I want to say..thank you so much for helping me carrying my message...so far that it reached the circles of people with whom she was in touch, and even further, so that my friend saw it!

I just now hope that she wants to get back in touch with me again as well. I'm crossing my fingers...
I am certain it has to settle down for her and she was probably very surprised by it herself. It has been a long time...and again, we never had arguments...but life must have been extremely stressful to my friend when she decided to hide away.

Now, time is all we need, and I will be patient.

Please help me find my disappeared friend!!

A while ago, my best childhood friend suddenly disappeared and everyone close lost track of her due to breaking contact with everything and everyone around her.
We two used to spend every of our free time and wrote stories, painted and dreamt of fantasy characters and worlds. This painting is about one of our most important characters, which we came up with about 13 years ago. I have never forgotten our stories and characters, and especially not my friend, so I wanted to paint the character named Eilathan again, with the memories and visions we had back then and my skills I have nowadays.

My friend had a very hard time and a lot of stress and despair before disappearing. We never had any arguments or misunderstandings, and I know that she is there somewhere. I hope and wish that this painting gets carried out far by you helping me to share until it eventually and hopefully reaches her friends, family and most of all, her.
She knows the character and the name.
I can't reveal her real name online as I don't know about her intentions for hiding, however, she knows the character and the name very well.
With this, I also want to inspire that the bond of friendship never breaks, no matter how far the distance, course of life is, or how much time of silence passes. The bridge to reach one another can always be rebuilt together, hand in hand.

I haven't been open for drawing commissions for quite a while now, but I want to loose my hand again and get back into the flow of traditional drawing and sketching!
Beside that, I have encountered high dentist bills due to a horriffic story, which I will be telling you about soon here. This has been on my mind for quite a while now, and while everything that another dentist messed up is being fixed, I have been struggling to pay the horrendously high bills which keep flowing into my house every now and then.

To keep myself distracted and my head up, I will now, inbetween all other big projects, add this commission run to my list.
Hopefully it will as well bring a smile to your face, as it will also help me to get over this large mountain of paperwork to do. <3

What I will offer:

Traditional drawings on beautifully hot pressed illustration board (the one I usually take to paint big illustrations on, but which allows a rich pencil stroke and fine details as well) of the size of DIN A4.
You can have the drawing shipped to you for an additional fee, or get a high resolution scan and a ready for upload version of the image too.

Flowy Sketches mean:
I want to get into the mood of your character and depict them in beautiful poses and elemental aspects. Whatever comes in your mind, you can tell me, or let my ideas for your character roam.
When you take a slot, please provide me with the character information such as images or a short description. The bigger the description, the longer it will take me to get into your character's look.
Since I love character design, I would love, if you told me a little about the personality of your character. If you merely want a drawing done by me and not a specific character, share your ideas with me.

The commission prices:

- The basic Flowy Sketch commission drawing on A4 hot pressed illustration board is 35€ (Euro)
- Each additional character is 15€ extra
- The shipping fee is 4€ to Germany, 5€ to Europe and 7€ worldwide
- Each drawing will be wrapped safely and sturdy to prevent damage.

And take yourself some time to embrace yourself with the story of my newest dragon of incense, Dammar. This is such an incredible gift yet again by the wonderful Fox Amoore who continuously inspires me and never ceases to amaze me. This is the best interpretation of a dragon's story I have *ever* heard. Seriously.
There are so many details, real vocalists, voice actor, an incredible flute player, real self written Japanese lyrics.

If you don't listen to it, you definitely miss out on something great! °^°

Thank you to everyone who has submitted their wonderful paintings and ideas to my little contest! It was a very hard task to choose the three winners of this contest, as actually, the personal inspiration is something that can not really be evaluated by an outside person. However, I did choose the winners by taking a lot of time and consulting my friend who helped me a lot realising this journal!
There were many inspiring images created by you, and some of them struck me quite a lot. Therefore I must say that everyone of you is a winner, solely by taking your time and by sharing your inspiration <3
The three winners were chosen very carefully and with a lot of time. I will soon make a collage of all images submitted and put into my News folder.

As you might have seen on my Facebook announcement, there will be a small exhibition showcasting my works!
The title of my exhibition is "Mostly Dragons" and will take place at a café/bar/gallery called "Pimpinelle" in the heart of Berlin.

The title is symbol of my exhibition's content: Dragons!
Time and time again I gave those majestic creatures deeper thought and developed stories, scribbles, sketches and paintings which depicted my inspiration and love for them.
Over time, I collected a good amount of works containing dragons, of which some are going to be seen in form of prints, originals and smaller sketches at "Mostly Dragons". Some of the works there will be for sale too.

When I received the request to make an exhibition with my works I asked myself which it would be about or if I want some sort of theme to go with and to focus on.
Usually I would exhibit some of my paintings and make a mixture of all sorts of themes that inspired me over time, but instead of a collection, I came to the conclusion to focus more on dragons to fill up the show-room at the "Pimpinelle" and to grant it some distinctiviness.

Since I currently work on my project called "Dragons of Incense", I saw this as a chance to display concepts and the first dragons as big prints for the first time.
I would love to share my ideas with everyone who likes my works and who is eager to see them in bigger format there at the Pimpinelle.

About the exhibition room:

The Pimpinelle is a cosy and homely café and bar which also functions as exhibition room for various artists who have their private vernissage runs every now and then.
There you find various scrumptious cocktails for a very low price (it seems like they always have Happy Hour beside their real Happy Hour) homemade food and much seating of all kinds. The operators of the café are Rico and Katrin, who are both friends of mine for many years, and very kind and open for everything.
The Pimpinelle is located in the Holteistraße 13 in Friedrichshain, Berlin. For people who happen to travel around or live in Berlin, you can easily reach it by travelling to Ostkreuz, then walk shortly, or take the M13 which stops even directly in front of the location.

In addition to the pictures, we have a professional violinist named Julia Schmidt, who played in orchestras, various symphonies in Germany and Ireland!

If everyting goes well, there will be a nice surprise at the early end of the evening too!
